Daytime Emergencies: Any emergencies during the day can be brought in and we will see them as soon as we can.

After hours emergencies: please call 01206 842224 Vets Now. This number is also on our answer machine 01206 561407.

Vets Now is a dedicated out of hours emergency service with their own emergency veterinary staff. They work from Penrose and Partners premises in Highwoods when that practice closes. As it is difficult for our staff to work 24 hours a day we work with Vets Now to provide the best care for your pets.

The staff stay on site all night and on the weekends and are available for advice over the phone (free of charge) or for consultations. They do charge an out of hours fee for consultations.

Local directions to Vets Now Colchester
From the A12: 
Exit the A12 at junction 29 Crown Interchange. At the roundabout take your third exit onto the A1232 Ipswich Road. Halfway down turn right into Severalls Lane. Take your next left into Brinkley Lane and Vets Now is on your left.

From A120, Harwich:
Follow the A120 towards Colchester and just before it meets the A12 exit on to the A1232 signposted for Colchester Centre. At the roundabout turn left onto the A1232, Ipswich Road. Halfway down turn right into Severalls Lane. Take your next left into Brinkley Lane and Vets Now is on your left.
